About ECRL
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project is a 665 km long rail service that will connect the East Coast states of Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang before connecting the Klang Valley with the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
As national infrastructure, ECRL will connect large and small cities and improve the public transportation system with its rail network.
The project is designed to move passengers and cargo, aiming to stimulate the economy and improve the public transport system.
With a speed of 160km, this passenger train is estimated to take approximately four hours from Kota Bharu to ITT Gombak and this project is expected to be fully operational in January 2027.
ECRL Route Alignment
The overall alignment of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Project is designed to provide a better network across the East Coast region and connect it with the West Coast region.
At the same time, it also takes into account the potential growth of the industrial, trade and tourism sectors in the region concerned.
Starting from Kota Bharu in Kelantan, it heads south through Terengganu and Pahang, before turning west across Selangor.
Along its route, ECRL passes through large cities such as Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan and Bentong.

Crew Recruitment Conditions
For this vacant position, there are crew recruitment requirements that applicants must meet:
1. Basic Qualifications (Entry Requirements)
- Malaysian citizen, aged 18 – 35 years.
- Minimum SPM (awards in Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mathematics). Diploma/degree holders are welcome to apply.
- Fluent in Malay and English.
- Additional languages are a plus.
- Candidates who have experience as Cabin Crew (age limit up to 45 years) are highly encouraged to apply
2. Physical & Medical Requirements
- Proportional body weight (according to BMI).
- Minimum height (Train Crew only)
– Men: 165 cm
– Women: 157 cm - Good vision (with/without correction).
- Short hair (for men), neat and professional.
- The body is healthy and able to do physical work.
- No visible tattoos or scars (while in uniform).
- Neat skills.
