A four-year-old female student was allegedly stabbed by a 14-year-old student studying transitional education in an incident at SMK Bandar Damansara (4) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor this morning.
Police Chief Datuk Seri Khalid Ismail said that in the incident at around 09.30 WIB, the victim died at the scene in the school area, while the 14 year old suspect who was a student at the same school was arrested.
Several photos spread on social media showing the conditions and weapons used.
In this case, the suspect’s identity cannot be revealed because he is still a minor.
The suspect is said to have carried a sharp weapon, a knife, before stabbing the victim.

Stabbed Several Times In The School Toilet
In the latest TV3 Newsletter video, it is known that the female student was stabbed several times in her body. The incident occurred in the school toilet, where the student tried to hide but failed.
According to the witness in the Daily News report, a friend of the victim who was nearby immediately ran to seek help from the disciplinary teacher.
“The teacher then rushed to the toilet and tried to break down the door. After several attempts, the door finally broke, but the child managed to escape and started chasing other students while holding a knife,” he said.
He said there was panic when the boy rushed into several first grade classrooms with his hands still holding blood-stained weapons.
“He ran into the classroom and everyone started screaming and running out. His clothes were covered in blood,” he said.
The commotion only ended when the suspect’s brother and several teachers managed to detain him and take his knife.
“His younger brother managed to grab the knife after he struggled. The teacher tried to calm him down,” said the witness.


The motive for the incident is still under investigation and further information regarding the case will be provided by the Selangor Police Chief in the near future. Several media also reported that the incident was related to the female student’s feelings of rejection. Petaling Jaya Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said the allegations were circulating on social media and were also being investigated.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) will hold a special press conference this afternoon to explain the death of a female student at a school in Selangor this afternoon.
The press conference chaired by the Director General of Education, Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad, took place at 17.00 at the KPM head office in Putrajaya.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has also set up a special committee to ensure that all aspects of the incident of a student’s stabbing death at a school in Selangor are fully, transparently and fairly investigated.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the authorities were investigating the case.
