Synopsis of Delayed Happiness

The Delayed Part tells the story of Nurin Hana, a tough woman who is trapped in a marriage full of suffering. During her eight years as Zakwan’s wife, her life was never free from stress and tears.

Behind her smile, Hana bears the heavy burden of not only having to work hard, but also being the breadwinner wife who bears all the expenses for her husband’s family. What was even more painful was that he was completely dominated by his brother-in-law who often interfered in their household affairs.

Hana lives in the arms of her in-laws and sister-in-law who like to bully her, so she never feels the joy of celebrating in her own village. The suffering peaked when Zakwan without guilt told her to pay the rent for their house herself.

Everything collapsed when Hana discovered Zakwan’s affair with Azrin Sofea, a beautiful widow who shamelessly insulted him. When the divorce was announced, it was the end of all Hana’s loyalty and sacrifice.

Even though her heart is broken, Hana continues to defend the future of her only child, Raiqal. In the struggle to rebuild his life, there is a man named Armin who brings new light to his life. Armin not only healed the wounds left by Zakwan, but was also present with his sincerity and love which was able to heal Hana’s soul which had been wounded for a long time.

However, life is not that easy. Zakwan begins to be haunted by regret, trying to get back to Hana with sweet promises and old memories. Now Hana is at the crossroads of her life between the past and the future.

Should she return to the man who once destroyed her trust, open her heart to Armin who promises true happiness, or choose to stand alone for the sake of self-respect and peace of mind?
