UKPC, Smart Receipt Test to Pendang Academy of Sciences

What is UKPC?

UKPC or Smart Smart Admission Test is a special screening test that was introduced by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) to choose students in 5 with high intelligence to continue their studies in prestigious schools, Academy of Sciences (ASP).

Through this test, smart schools such as Pendang Academy of Sciences can choose students who meet the requirements to participate in science and technology education programs that are very challenging and exclusive.

UKPC emphasizes aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), while ensuring successful students have a strong foundation to master this field in the future.

The Smart Student Detection Process (PC) will begin at the age of 10 years when they are in the 4th year of elementary school (SR) through the IAAT4 test to detect the potential of students because they are used throughout Malaysia.

Based on the test findings, students with good scores will be identified and invited to Occupy (UKPC) at the age of 11 (5 years).

• Main Purpose: Assess the level of cognitive, thought, reasoning and creativity of students.
• Target Group: Students in 5 years are automatically registered by KPM.
• Selection Method: Students do not need to be applied but selected based on existing data (academic performance, assessment etc.).
• Test format: contains about 100 questions with a period of 85 minutes (according to the latest information).
• Test Results: This is used as a basis for assessing the qualifications of student admissions to Pendang Academy of Sciences, a full boarding school that focuses on the development of smart students through an excellent educational option program (PPPC).

Note: ASP (Pendang Academy of Sciences) is the first full-time dormitory school under KPM that focuses on smart students through an Excellent Educational Choice Program (PPPC), part of the 2013-2025 Malaysian Education Plan (PPPM).

• UKPC is also important in developing high caliber human resources that can compete nationally and internationally in science, technology, and other critical skills.

• This test helps the smart school to manage the student entry process in a more organized and objective way, evaluating the intelligence and talents of students as a whole.

Conditions & Quality

1. General feasibility

• Open to the 5th year of students in government elementary schools or elementary schools of government assistance.
• Students are automatically selected by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) based on assessment data, not through individual applications.

2. Candidate selection

Candidates who meet the requirements will be elected by KPM using information such as:

• Academic performance (class assessment, school test).
• School -Based Assessment (PBS) -including academic & non -academic.
• Background of students through data in KPM.

Only selected candidates will be called in UKPC.

3. Characteristics of target students

• Having high cognitive intelligence, critical and creative thinking.
• Show problem solving skills and logical reasoning.
• Potential to highlight in science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM).

4. Feasibility for the Academy of Sciences

• Graduated from UKPC with results that meet the minimum feasibility level determined by KPM.
• Ready to study in a full dormitory school that focuses on an excellent educational option program (PPPC).

• September 8, 2025, Monday (Group School)
• September 9, 2025, Tuesday (Group B School)

Date of the Offer Letter is issued for successful candidates: December 15, 2025 (Monday)

UKPS Soalan Format

• Students need to answer 100 questions in 90 minutes.
• This test is done online.
• Only selected students can access the test system on the specified day.

UKPC Implementation Process

• Candidates need to bring identification documents and school uniform certificates.
• Candidates are asked to attend at least 30 minutes before the test time starts.
• Registration is done by confirming the identity using an official document (Identity Card/Mykid/Call Test).
• Candidates will be accompanied by test rooms.

Instructions for candidates

The test coordinator is responsible for reading official instructions including:

• Testing time (the system will be closed after expiration);
• Number of questions;
• Answering method (through the system);
• Prohibition rules (telephone use, communication, imitation); And
• Login system using an identity card/mykid number

The UKPC system will automatically store all candidates’ answers and records.

The selected candidates will receive an offer letter to accompany the PC stem exploration.

UKPC Inventory Tips
