2027 SBP & MRSM Admissions FAQ (PKSK FAQ)
Check out the frequently asked questions below to get information regarding eligibility requirements, applications, PKSK, results review, appeals and important matters related to SBP and MRSM admission.
1. What is meant by a special school?
These special schools are Religious Islamic Boarding Schools (SBP), National Religious High Schools (SMKA), Technical Islamic Boarding Schools (SBP-T), Vocational High Schools (KV) and Royal Military High Schools (MTD).
2. Does registration to MARA Junior College of Science (MRSM) have to go through a separate registration system?
No. Starting in 2026, applications for admission for grades 1 and 4 to SLB and MRSM use the same system and offers are carried out using the single entry point method.
3. What is meant by single entry point?
Single entry point means an application system that uses a centralized online platform for admission to special schools and MRSM using the Ministry of Education’s integrated system (MOEIS) and the student management module in the Student Database Application (APDM), Ministry of Education (KPM).

5. Who is eligible to register for special schools and MRSM?
All students have the right to register at special schools and MRSM with the following conditions:
- born between January 2, 2014 to January 1, 2015 to enter level 1 in 2027;
- born between January 2, 2011 to January 1, 2012 to enter level 4 in 2027; And
- registered in the system MOEIS/APDM.
6. Can private school students who are not registered in the MOEIS/APDM system register at special schools or MRSM?
The student who not registered in the MOEIS/APDM system, Can’t enroll in a special school.

7. Can students apply to special schools through the MyMRSM system?
Can’t. The MyMRSM system displays the MRSM option only.
8. How do I log in to the special school and MRSM admission application system?
Applicants only need to enter a number My son/my card alone with the number The main caregiver of MyKad to enter the application system.
9. What is a Primary Caregiver?
The primary guardian is the guardian of the student registered in the system MOEIS/APDM.
10. What are the main components of the Special School Entrance Assessment (PKSK)?
PKSK consists of three main components, namely:

11. How is PKSK implemented?
PKSK is implemented in three sessions divided into two stages, namely:

13. What actions should applicants take if they wish to update their personal information in the application system?
Ministry of Education schools (including government aided schools):
- Update information on MOEIS via the link:
- Applicants need to ensure that confirmation is sent after the update is applied.
- The latest information will be adjusted and displayed in the application system within 12 hours.
- After a period of approximately 24 hours, please log back into the Application System and if the display on the printed application is not the same as the display on the Part A application information form, please click the button KEEP to re-update.
Private schools registered with KPM:
- Update information in the Online Service System (SPATKPM) via the link
- Applicants need to contact their home school class teacher to confirm information changes.
- Information changes will be updated automatically after being confirmed by the original school class teacher.
- After a period of approximately 24 hours, please log back into the Application System and if the display on the printed application is not the same as the display on the Part A application information form, please click the button KEEP to re-update.
14. Do students who do not register/don’t take part in PKSK have the opportunity to be offered to special schools or MRSM?
Can’t. Applications can only be made online via the specified link.
15. Do students who do not register/don’t take part in PKSK have the opportunity to be offered to special schools or MRSM?
No. Only students who register and take part in PKSK have the opportunity to be offered special schools or MRSM.
16. When can a PKSK central review be carried out?

17. When will PKSK be implemented?
PKSK is implemented simultaneously with the following conditions:
- Level 1: October 12 – October 22, 2026
- SVM Form 4 and Year 1: September 21 – October 1
18. Can prospective PKSK participants take part in their respective locations?
Can’t. Prospective participants must take the PKSK at the assessment center appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This location is determined based on center selection at the time of application and confirmation of placement by the system. Candidates are not permitted to take part in PKSK at a location of their own choice or at a location that is not specified.
19. Will prospective participants be charged a fee to take part in PKSK?
No.
20. What actions must candidates take before taking part in PKSK?
All candidates are required to take the following actions before taking part in PKSK:
- Conduct a review of the PKSK center via the established link starting September 11 2026;
- print the PKSK exam sitting slip to be brought during registration at the PKSK center;
- bring MyKid/MyKad to the PKSK Center;
- bring stationery (pen or pencil); And
- wear a school uniform when occupying PKSK.
21. When can the SLB and MRSM admission registration results be reviewed?

22. Can candidates who are not offered to a particular school and MRSM submit an appeal?
Yes. Appeals can be made online from 18 December 2026 to 05 January 2027 via the following link:

23. Will candidates offered to SLB also be offered to MRSM?
No. Through method single entry pointcandidates are only offered one place, either a special school or MRSM.
24. Can students in SLB and MRSM register for other SLB and MRSM?

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
