As a form of appreciation to the Muzakki (zakat payers), the Selangor Zakat Agency introduced a special initiative called SIDDIK (Selangor Muzakki Children’s Education Contribution).

About SIDDIK
SIDDIK (Selangor Muzakki Children’s Education Donation) is an initiative of the Selangor Zakat Institute (LZS) as a form of appreciation for zakat (Muzakki) payers.
Muzakki in general are those who pay or issue zakat, both zakat fitrah and zakat assets (maal).
This donation aims to support the education of Muzakiki children through special donations in the form of education savings.
Application Date
Registration dates for this session are open from now on October 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025.
Contribution Amount
Every deserving child will receive the same RM100 as an educational contribution.
This contribution is only given once per child in one year of application.
Eligibility Conditions
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Amount of Zakat Payment: Muzakki who have paid zakat on assets (all types of zakat except zakat fitrah) between RM500 to RM5,000 in a year are eligible to register.
- Application Period: New applications can be made the following year after the zakat payment is made. For example, zakat is paid in 2025, then the application can be made in 2026.
- Special Conditions: One of the zakat payments must be made in October, November or December, and the total payment must meet the eligibility requirements.
- Child Criteria:
– Children must attend school from grade 1 to grade 5 or between the ages of 7 and 17 years only.
– Must attend a recognized educational institution in that country.
Distribution Method
This educational contribution will be credited to the child’s SSPN Prime Savings account.
Recipients of donations/muzakki must be savers and children who are beneficiaries of the SSPN Prime Savings account.
If the recipient of the donation/Muzakki does not have an SSPN Prime Savings account, then opening a new account and notification letter will be managed by PTPTN.
How to Register
To register, follow these steps:
- Register and Please: Applications are made online via the eZO LZS portal viz
- Fill in Complete Information: Make sure all personal and child information is filled in correctly to avoid application rejection.
- Attach Supporting Documents as follows:
– Photocopy of the child’s birth certificate/Photocopy of the child’s adoption certificate; And
– Copy of study confirmation via IDME (for schools under the Ministry of Education Malaysia); or
– Photocopy of study validation through APDM (for schools/maahads under the Selangor Islamic Religious Department); or
– Photocopy of school fee payment certificate (for private schools)/confirmation from the school.
*Copies of documents need to be legalized by the People’s Representative/Pemhulu/Village Head/Citizen Leader/Mosque Minister/Surau Head/Parish Amil/Class A Officer/Head of LZS District Distribution Operations/LZS Section Head/LZS Manager/LZS Branch Head.
