SARA For All – One Time Assistance RM100 Use MyKad

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced a one-time grant of RM100 to all Malaysians aged 18 and above regardless of income, namely SARA For All. This assistance will be credited starting February 9, 2026 and can be exchanged using the respective MyKad for payment at without cash.

Introduction to SARA for All

SARA for All is a government assistance initiative in the Rahmah Basic Contribution (SARA) program which is part of the Rahmah Cash Contribution (STR).

This program provides one-time assistance of RM100 to all Malaysians aged 18 years and above, regardless of income background.

To implement this program, the government has allocated funds of RM2.2 billion to ensure that assistance can be used by all citizens.

There is no need to submit an application because the assistance will automatically go to the recipient’s MyKad and can be used non-cashly to purchase basic necessities. This SARA Assistance for All is valid until 31 December 2026.

Overall, this program aims to help people face the rising cost of living through a simpler, more transparent and comprehensive method of non-cash targeted assistance.

SARA One Time 2026

SARA FOR ALL (2026) will be credited starting tomorrow February 9, 2026 (Monday). Payment checking can be done on the Official SARA Portal.

RM100 SARA Credit FOR ALL valid until expiry date, December 31, 2026. The unspent balance will be redistributed to vulnerable groups through a program that will be decided later.

Eligibility Conditions

Every individual Malaysian people aged 18 years and over entitled to receive RM100 one time using MyKad.

How to Exchange Money on MyKad (SARA For All)

The cashier will scan your ID card to redeem the favor. Make sure you use it to deliver essential items in the ordered categories.

1. Select Required Items
   • Aid recipients can buy goods based on 14 categories of goods that have the SARA and MyKasih labels on the price tag shelf.
2. Show MyKad For Verification
   • The cashier checks the recipient’s MyKad status.
3. Change Pin Number
   • Beneficiaries need to change the temporary pin number (first 6 digits of MyKad) to a new pin number.
4. Scan Item Code
   • The cashier scans each basic food item you want to buy according to the permitted categories.
5. Pay Using MyKad
   • The recipient enters a 6 digit pin number to confirm the transaction
6. Save Receipt For Review
   • Beneficiaries keep receipts to verify purchase transactions.

SARA For All is cash assistance provided via the recipient’s MyKad to purchase basic necessities at selected stores nationwide. SARA RM100 ‘one time’ is provided to individuals aged 18 years and above.

When is the deadline for purchasing SARA?
