MUET TEST RESULTS SESSION 1 YEAR 2026
For information, the Malaysian Examinations Council announced that the results of the Malaysian University English Language Test (MUET) Session 1 2026 can be checked from June 24 2026 (Wednesday), 10.00 WIB
Checking can be done in the following ways:

Appeal Revision of MUET Decision
If you wish to appeal the review of MUET results, you can refer to the information below carefully.
- Applications for appeal review are usually open for 7 days from the time the official decision is announced (24 June to early July 2026) on the official MUET appeal portal.
- Candidates need to fill out the application and make payment online through this system.
- If the candidate faces problems with the online payment system/application please send an email to [email protected].
- Questions other than online payment system/application problems, please contact MPM online 0361261691/1692 or email to [email protected].
- The results of appeals regarding the review of MUET test results can be checked on the Malaysian Examinations Council’s official website afterwards. 20 days Completed applications are received on MPM (working days). MPM will do it issue a new MUET Certificate to candidates who change the overall result only
MUET Test Components
The MUET exam includes four papers namely:
- Listening (30 minutes)
- Speaking (30 minutes)
- Reading (90 minutes)
- Writing (90 minutes)
MUET results are issued from 2009, the validity period is five years starting from the date the test results are released.
MUET 2026 Registration
MUET registration can be done online.
The fee to take this test is RM100.00 (citizen candidates) and RM350.00 (non-citizen candidates) via internet banking/credit card on the Malaysian Examinations Council official website.
Prospective participants are required to check the registration status and exam sitting date on the registration slip (MUET/D) via the MPM start portal and print it as a ticket to take the exam.

FAQ – MUET Review
Candidates who wish to apply to higher education institutions in Malaysia to undertake a first degree program.
Starting in 2012, MUET is held three times a year, namely in March, July and November.
Candidates can submit a written application to MPM. Registration forms can be printed via the MPM Portal

The validity period of MUET decisions is as follows:
a) For MUET results published before 2009, the validity period is until 18 July 2013.
b) For MUET results published starting in 2009, the validity period is five years, namely from the date the test results were issued.
Candidates can check MUET result status in two ways:
i) Via the MPM Portal
ii) Via short message service (SMS). Candidates can type MUET RESULT and send it to 15888.

Candidates can submit a letter to the MPM including a photocopy of their identity card. Corrections are not made to the MUET Registration Slip, but are made to the MUET result slip.
Yes. Basic information such as name, identity card number (along with a copy of the identity card), session and year of taking the MUET test can be used to track a candidate’s MUET result statement.
The MUET results statement submitted by post will be sent to the applicant within one working day after the application is received by MPM, and applications at the MPM counter will be completed within 30 minutes after the application is received.
In the MUET test, candidates are required to take all four components of the MUET test. If you fail to take any of the components or papers, the candidate will get a result of X for the overall MUET test results.
MPM carries out the MUET test 3 times a year. The aim is to give students the opportunity and space to choose the right time and be fully prepared to take the MUET test. By carrying out the MUET test 3 times a year, the time interval for one session is only 4 months. This short time will cause MPM and JPN to experience difficulties in registering candidates, printing question papers, determining exam centers, selecting supervisors, managing exam administration, coordinating meetings, marking answer scripts, processing results, standard meetings, and publishing results. In this regard, students who take MUET in the current session always have the opportunity to improve it in the next MUET session because it is held 3 times a year.
