Application for children’s assistance (BKK) JKM 2025

Children’s assistance in the Malaysian Department of Welfare, also known as BKK JKM is one of the assistance offered by the Ministry of Female, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) through the Community Welfare Department Agency (JKM). In total, there are 11 types of assistance to ease the burden of the people, especially the KPWKM target group.

The following is more information about JKM Children’s Help (BKK JKM).

What is the help of children with JKM?

JKM 2025 Children’s Assistance (BKK) is a monthly cash assistance for families and low-income caregivers to meet the needs of their children.

The level of assistance is RM250/per child below 6, RM200/per child 7-18, with a maximum of RM1,000 a month.

Applications can be made online through the benefits portal or in the JKM office.

Purpose & Purpose BKK JKM

JKM provides children’s assistance (BKK) aimed at:

1. Helping families/ guardians for children -children/ children or help children/ children who are not/ lost guardians to live with their families and continue their survival without influencing the growth and development of children at their level.

Level of assistance

The level for BKK is the minimum RM200 per month to the maximum RM1000 a month as the following fraction:

Seeing the table above, the level of assistance for 2025 was raised by RM50 from 2024.

JKM Children’s Feasibility Requirements

1. Residents and residents in Malaysia
2. Family/ guardian who care for children -children/ children under 18 years.
3. Household income does not exceed the average poor hardcore households at this time or average PGK per capita hardcore hardcore current; or
4. Family/ guardian and child -child/ child -child Just staying Together with parents/ guardians/ relatives/ others meet the requirements to be considered if the applicant’s monthly income does not exceed the poverty line income (PGK) is currently a poor household hardcore or average PGK per capita hardcore current;
5. Children/ children have no careers that meet the requirements, because parents who are not citizens/ are declared bankrupt or bankruptcy/ mental disability, assistance can be approved on behalf of the child;
6. Children -children/ children who receive student benefits with special needs (EMBPK)/ community recovery program allowance (PDK) and any monthly assistance from JKM does not meet the requirements for BKK;
7. Children/ children -children over the age of 16 who have worked full time and do not attend school do not meet the requirements for BKK; OR
8. Cases that exceed the current poverty line (PGK) from the average hardcore hardcore hardcore or PGK average per capita hardcore or reasonable and other necessary problems, can be considered and approved by the territory of the state/ federal kuala lumpur/ labuan (PKMN/ WPKL/ WPL)).

Use:

• Changes in BKK tariffs will occur during the review process.

How to apply jkm bkk

1. Applications in the District Welfare Office (JKM) District/Division

1. Financial assistance application operations are made in district / colonial / division / divisions throughout the country
   • Each registered application will be carried out for an investigation for evaluation (Facility Test) To confirm the feasibility of assistance to the applicant; And
   • This problem is in line with the principle of sending assistance based on eligibility and not rights
2. To facilitate administrative problems, applicants are asked to bring support documents while attending the Social Welfare Office (JKM) from the district/division such as:
   • Copy of applicant’s identity card;
   • A copy of the husband/wife identity card/mother/parent/child;
   • A copy of the birth certificate of children/family members who live together;
   • Copy of salary statement (if any); And
   • Other relevant documents

Required documents

The following are documents that need to be provided if you want to apply for this BKK JKM assistance:

1. Copy of mykad applicants;
2. Copies of Mykad/ Mykid family members who live together;
3. Letter/ income report from employer; or
4. Declaration of income from leaders/ operators/ leaders of the community or individuals who are appointed or chosen to lead and represent the local community by the government at the state or federal level (Appendix 4: Income/ labor confirmation form) if working alone; or
5. Oath Commissioner (if self -employed);
6. One copy of utility bills such as water/ electric/ telephone bills and others (for the purpose of confirmation of the address);
7. Copy of the Latest Bank Account Report/ Latest Bank Account Confirmation Slip;
8. For children -children 12 years and under:
   • In cases of citizens, the account of parents/ parents/ guardians;
   • In the case of parents/ parents/ guardians, an account together with one of the parents/ guardians.
   • For parents/ guardians/ bankers/ mental disabilities, accounts with one parent/ guardian who is not bankrupt/ defective; And
9. Other relevant supporting documents (if necessary).

8 JKM Target Groups

In addition to children’s assistance, the Social Welfare Department (JKM) pays special attention to the following 8 target groups in ensuring that their welfare is maintained:

• Disabled people (deactivated)
• Victims of Domestic Violence
• Disaster victims

• Young perpetrators
