Application for children’s assistance (BKK) JKM 2025


Children’s assistance in the Malaysian Department of Welfare, also known as BKK JKM is one of the assistance offered by the Ministry of Female, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) through the Community Welfare Department Agency (JKM). In total, there are 11 types of assistance to ease the burden of the people, especially the KPWKM target group.

What is the help of children with JKM?

JKM 2025 Children’s Assistance (BKK) is a monthly cash assistance for families and low-income caregivers to meet the needs of their children.

The level of assistance is RM250/per child below 6, RM200/per child 7-18, with a maximum of RM1,000 a month.

Applications can be made online through the benefits portal or in the JKM office.

Purpose & Purpose BKK JKM

JKM provides children’s assistance (BKK) aimed at:

1. Helping families/ guardians for children -children/ children or help children/ children who are not/ lost guardians to live with their families and continue their survival without influencing the growth and development of children at their level.

Level of assistance

The level for BKK is the minimum RM200 per month to the maximum RM1000 a month as the following fraction:

JKM Children’s Feasibility Requirements

  1. Residents and residents in Malaysia
  2. Family/ guardian who care for children -children/ children under 18 years.
  3. Household income does not exceed the average poor hardcore households at this time or average PGK per capita hardcore hardcore current; or
  4.   7. Children/ children -children over the age of 16 who have worked full time and do not attend school do not meet the requirements for BKK; OR

How to apply jkm bkk

1. Applications in the District Welfare Office (JKM) District/Division

Required documents

The following are documents that need to be provided if you want to apply for this BKK JKM assistance:

  1. Copy of mykad applicants;
  2. Copies of Mykad/ Mykid family members who live together;
  3. Letter/ income report from employer; or
  4. Declaration of income from leaders/ operators/ leaders of the community or individuals who are appointed or chosen to lead and represent the local community by the government at the state or federal level (Appendix 4: Income/ labor confirmation form) if working alone; or
  5. Oath Commissioner (if self -employed);
  6. One copy of utility bills such as water/ electric/ telephone bills and others (for the purpose of confirmation of the address);
  7. Copy of the Latest Bank Account Report/ Latest Bank Account Confirmation Slip;
  8. For children -children 12 years and under:
    • In cases of citizens, the account of parents/ parents/ guardians;
    • In the case of parents/ parents/ guardians, an account together with one of the parents/ guardians.
    • For parents/ guardians/ bankers/ mental disabilities, accounts with one parent/ guardian who is not bankrupt/ defective; And
  9. Other relevant supporting documents (if necessary).
