What is PROTECT Love?

PROTECT Love is a scheme under SOCSO (Social Security Organization) that provides protection from the risk of domestic accidents, disability or death to women who take care of the household full-time or part-time. Originally introduced under the Housewives’ Social Security Act of 2022 under the name Housewife Social Security Scheme or its abbreviation SKSSR. However, it has now changed its name to the PROTECT LOVE scheme.

The aim of this scheme is to provide social security protection to women in the event of a disaster or disability in the household in carrying out their household duties.

Many housewives think that housework is “not risky”, but in fact there are many cases such as:

• Falls while mopping the floor
• Burns when cooked
• Injured while caring for a small child

All of this is important domestic accidentand if there is a PROTECT LOVE contribution, you can get compensation and medical assistance — like workers who have SOCSO, you know!

Who is Eligible to Apply?

PROTECT Love is not only intended for formal workers (private workers or civil servants). Remember, ALL women – regardless of whether they are housewives or working; both are eligible to join this scheme!

This also includes married or single women, who manage the household either full-time or part-time; including wives, mothers, widows, widows, single mothers, sisters, or children.
