The establishment of the Pre-Diploma program aims to provide educational opportunities to the Malay, Orang Asli and Sabah/Sarawak communities in urban and rural areas.

Students don’t need to worry about costs because the fees are FREE, monthly self-sufficiency ALLOWANCE and dormitory accommodation are also available FREE.

The UiTM Pre-Higher Education Program (PPT) or Pre-Diploma Program is the best opportunity if you have not yet secured a place at a State University through UPU.

What is UiTM Pre Diploma?

The UiTM Pre-Higher Education Program was previously a program known as the Changing the Destiny of a Nation (MDAB) Program.

This program is based on the university’s philosophy which believes that a person is able to strive for excellence through the transfer of knowledge and the application of pure values.

The main objective of the PPT program is to recruit Sjil Belajar Malaysia (SPM) graduate students who obtained SPM results that do not meet UPU requirements.

The PPT program is open to B40 and non-B40 groups so that everyone can continue their studies to a higher level.

Application Date

UiTM 2026 Pre-Diploma Registration is open from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 202 for the March 2026 admission session.

For students who wish to register, please register immediately before applications close.

Student admissions are conducted twice a year and all the latest information regarding admissions will be displayed on the PPT website from now on.

NOTE: UiTM Pre Diploma Free Pin Application 2025/2026

• Please ensure the information provided is accurate and correct.
• Pin Numbers are unique for each individual.
• Only one email is allowed for one ID card number.
• The pin number will be sent to the registered email. Please refer to the email.
• For each repeated pin number request, only the email used in the first request will receive the pin number.
• Receiving a pin number does not mean the candidate is accepted into Pre-Diploma Studies.

• Only complete applications (Completing Forms & Submitting Documents) will be processed.

NOTE: All copies of documents as attachments forwarded via email must be ‘certified original copies’. Verification must be carried out by a Professional/Category A Official/Village Head/Penhulu/Conductor/MPKK Chair and equivalent’.

The following is a list of required supporting documents:

• Copy of Identity Card of Applicant, Mother and Father.
• Copy of birth certificate of applicant, mother and father.
• Copy of SPM.
• Copy of Repetition SPM (if relevant).
• Copy of Mother/Father’s Salary Statement
• Letter or form stating employment/income status for those who do not have a salary slip/certificate/unemployment/housewife.
• Photocopy of Death Certificate (if any).
• Copy of Parents’ Divorce Letter (if any).
• Copy/Approval Slip/Latest Federal/State Government Financial Assistance Slip (If Applicable).
• Copy of Adoption Certificate/ Information drawn in identity card chip/ MyKad (if relevant).
• Copy of Company SPT (if any).
• Copy of the highest and most recent sports certificate/recognition (Athlete Track).

Application of UiTM Pre-Ploma to the Diploma Program

The application (transition) process from Pre-Diploma to Diploma occurs automatically if you meet the specified requirements, but there are several important things you need to understand.

General Terms of Application

To be eligible to be “absorbed” into the Diploma program, you must meet the following criteria:

• Pass All Courses: You must pass all courses taken in the Pre-Diploma semester.
• Composite Grade Point Average (HPNM/CGPA): * Minimal 2.00 to be eligible to apply to most Diploma programs. A higher HPNM (e.g. 3.00 and above) will give you an advantage in choosing a more competitive program.
• Special Conditions: Some faculties set minimum grades for certain subjects (for example a B in Mathematics or English).

UiTM Pre Diploma Frequently Asked Questions 2026

When is the important date for UiTM Pre-Diploma Registration 2026?

Registration for the March 2026 session (Session 2 2025/2026) is open from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026.

What Programs Are Offered?

There are 5 programs offered, namely:
Pre-Diploma Commerce

What are the Minimum Eligibility Requirements?

In general, the minimum requirements are:
Nationality: Bumiputera only.
SPM Results: Pass SPM with a minimum of 3 credits (Grade C) including Malay.
Required Subjects: Pass Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and Pass English.

What is the Difference between MDAB and Regular Pre-Diploma?

– MDAB (B40/M40): If the father/mother’s gross income is RM4,999.99 or lower, you are entitled to free school fees, free college and pocket money allowance (subject to conditions).
– Normal Pre-Diploma: If family income is more than RM5,000, you can still apply but have to pay the school and college fees yourself.

How to Apply for UiTM Pre Diploma?

Get a Free Pin Number via the special link provided by the UiTM PPT Unit
Visit the portal.
Fill in the information and upload documents (IC Photocopy, SPM Slip, Parent’s Salary Slip).

How long is the study period?

The study period is only 1 semester (around 4 to 6 months). After completing and passing HPNM 2.00 and above, you will be immediately absorbed (implemented) into the Diploma program of your choice at UiTM.
