What is the 2026 Single Mother Love Program (KasihnITa)?

The Love for Single Mothers Program (KasihnITa) 2026 is a single mother empowerment program organized by the Department of Women’s Development (JPW), KPWKM, in collaboration with various agencies and professional experts.

This program is generally to help single mothers increase their knowledge, self-confidence and ability to manage their lives.

There are three (3) main modules in this program, namely:

• Psychosocial Development Module.
• Legal Skills Module;
• Financial Management & Literacy Module; And

In contrast to “one-time” financial assistance, KasihnITa is designed as a long-term guidance program to help single mothers get up, become independent, and manage life’s challenges more systematically.

Why should single mothers participate in this program?

Each module will be delivered by expert instructors who have extensive experience in their respective fields.

The implementation method used focuses on each specific case and problem.

Through sessions coaching & mentoringParticipants will be guided and instructed until they successfully achieve the set targets.

Objective

Here are the 4 main objectives of this program:

• Empowering and helping single mothers
• Assisting single mothers in post-divorce claims
• Helping single mothers in financial/debt management
• Helping single mothers to awaken their personal and psychosocial potential

Module

The Single Mother Love program offers 3 module options, namely:

Legal Skills Module

• Disclosure of legal proceedings and procedures in court.
• How to file your own lawsuit in court without legal assistance.
• Case analysis and legal consultation services. Legal Aid Service – lawyers will take your case to court for free – subject to terms and conditions.

Financial Management & Literacy Module

• Financial restructuring.
• Techniques for reducing debt burden and monthly commitments.
• The secret to increasing savings in a short time.
• Investment strategies and wealth generation.

Psychosocial Development Module

• Recognize and develop your potential.
• Conflicts/problems and emotional management.
• Formation of a positive mindset.
• Strategy to achieve success.

Implementation Stage

Each module will be implemented in stages as described below:

Phase 1: Advocacy/Introduction
2 hour online module introduction session. Participants will be selected according to predetermined criteria to pass to the next stage.

Phase 2: Development
Intensive training according to the module for 3 days physically according to the implementation conditions chosen by the participant. (Venue will be announced later).

Phase 3: Mentorship
Coaching & mentoring individually and in groups online/physically.

NOTE: Participants must provide full commitment to follow the 3 (three) stages of the program until completion. However, participants who have passed stage 1 will be screened based on the requirements and criteria that have been set to be able to take part in the next stage.

Terms of Participation

The eligibility requirements for selecting participants are as follows:

1. Single mother

According to the KPWKM definition, a single mother is:

• Women who are Head of Household, widowed or divorced/divorced permanently and have unmarried children in the same household; or

• Women who are the Head of the Household but have a husband (whose husband is unhealthy and unable to work) and have unmarried children in the same household; or

• Female Head of Household, never married but has children (adopted or illegitimate children).

2. Malaysian citizen.

3. Facing financial, legal or potential problems and self-confidence.
