Introduction of Selangor Women’s Health Scheme (MammoSEL)

The Selangor State Government believes that women are an important asset in the development of a state and nation. Many women work and try to support their families.

It is for this reason that the Selangor State Government established the Selangor Women’s Health Scheme. The main goal is to ensure women’s health is maintained and in optimal condition.

One of the campaigns under the Selangor Women’s Health Scheme is ‘1 Million Healthy Selangor Women’ providing free mammograms for Selangor women aged 50 years and above.

This program aims to provide free mammogram screening services to all women in the state of Selangor.

Eligibility Conditions

Eligibility requirements for this scheme are as follows:

1. Female Malaysian citizens aged 50 years and over; AND
2. Voters in Selangor State; AND
3. Born and currently domiciled in the State of Selangor; OR
4. Domiciled in the State of Selangor for a minimum of 10 years (not born in the State of Selangor)
