Le Tour de Langkawi (LTDL) 2025, the 29th edition of the prestigious bicycle race in Malaysia, is scheduled to run from September 28 to October 5, 2025.

This annual event continues to attract the world of world cycling with the participation of elite teams and challenging routes.

LTDL 2025 is expected to attract professional cycling teams from all over the world. With challenging paths and charming Malaysian views, motorists will have the opportunity to show their abilities while enjoying the natural beauty and local culture.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Malaysian National Federation will continue to function as the organizer, continuing the success of Petronas Ltdl 2024.

Petronas Ltdl 2025 will cross all 12 states on the Malaysian peninsula with a total distance of 1,257.8 kilometers. Langkawi Island remains the starting point for stage 1, while the race will end at Towers Twin Petronas. This edition also introduced three new places, namely Great Field (Perlis), Medini, and Tangkak (Johor).

In an effort to celebrate the year of the 2025 KEDAH visit, the state government of Kedah had agreed to make the Langkawi closing location for Ltdl 2025.

Since its first organization in 1996, LTDL has grown into one of the leading bicycle racing in Asia.

This is not only a platform for local and international motorists to show off their talents, but also promote Malaysia as a sports tourist destination.

Every year, LTDL offers beautiful views and challenging routes, making it an event that is awaited by the global cycling community.

According to an official statement, Ltdl 2025 will take place from 28 September to 5 October 2025.

With a comprehensive preparation and strong support from various parties, this event is expected to continue to strengthen its position as one of the leading bicycle racing in the region.

Please note that the temporary road closure will be implemented during the 3rd stage together with Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi 2025. The public is advised to plan the initial trip, allocate additional time, and use alternative routes if necessary to avoid traffic jams.
