About Students with Special Needs
Referring to the 2013 Education (Special Education) Regulations, students with special educational needs are children who have received certification from a doctor, optician, audiologist or psychologist whether in government service or not as students who have:
- Hearing disorders
- Blind
- Speech Disorders
- Physical Disabilities
- Learning Problems
- Multiple Disabilities
Application Date
Registration dates are as follows:
- Opening date: February 9, 2026
- Closing date: March 12, 2026

Eligibility Conditions
The requirements for registering with KV are as follows:
- Candidates are Malaysian citizens.
- Holders of Persons with Disabilities Cards (OKU) issued by the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) for the purposes of applying for the Allowance for Students with Special Educational Needs (EMBPK).
- Prospective students must be in good physical health and not have chronic diseases (heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, seizures and other diseases) that could prevent students from carrying out practical work.
- Able to look after himself.
- Never have a record of serious disciplinary violations such as:
I. Student Reports from the Student Identity System (SSDM); And
I. Attendance reports via the Student Database Application (APDM). - Submit High School Leaving Certificate.
- Master the basic skills of reading, writing, arithmetic and reasoning (4M).
- Submit School Based Assessment (PBS) documents, namely Class Assessment (Recording & Reporting in PBD Module: end of year).
