The Perak State Government through the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP) is offering the 2026 Perak Prosperous Entrepreneur Grant (GeRAK+) specifically for PMKS entrepreneurs, traders, hawkers and informal entrepreneurs in the State of Perak.

About the Perak Sejahtera Entrepreneurship Grant
GERAK PLUS is a one-time grant given specifically to PMKS entrepreneurs, traders, hawkers and informal entrepreneurs in the State of Perak.
The main objectives of this grant are to:
- Increase capacity and production
- Increase productivity
- Strengthen financial management
- Improve product branding and packaging
Through this grant, entrepreneurs who are entitled to receive this grant do not need to repay the assistance provided and it is open to all types of businesses.
Application Date
Application opening date begins May 2, 2026 to June 2, 2026.
Amount of Assistance
The amount of assistance provided through this grant reached RM5,000.
Grant Funding
This grant is intended to fund the following costs:
- The cost of purchasing equipment or services to help increase productivity and capacity.
- Special certification registration fees.
- Course participation fees related to productivity and capacity building.
- Costs associated with marketing and digital marketing activities.
- Packaging costs and related activities are assessed as productivity-enhancing activities by Grants Committee members.
- Costs of developing digital systems such as websites, ordering systems, or business management systems.
- Software subscription costs related to operations, finance, or marketing.
- Location modification costs in order to obtain certification (attach an audit review from related parties regarding location modifications.
Eligibility Conditions
Eligibility requirements to apply for this grant are as follows:
- Is the SSM registered in the state of Perak and is it still valid?
- The applicant is a Malaysian citizen.
- This business operates in the state of Perak.
- Applicants are only 18 to 60 years old.
- Selling value RM100,000.00 – RM300,000.00 only a year.
- Registered with IRB (Submitting Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) attachment).
- Have not received GeRAK grants in 2024 and 2025.
- Submit a bank statement (3 months) as proof of sales.


Terms of Purchase of Goods/Equipment
Conditions for purchasing goods or equipment for this grant application are as follows:
- The equipment requested has not been provided by any other agency.
- Each item must cost more than RM100.00.
- The requested equipment/goods or services aim to increase productivity, capacity and can help improve operational efficiency. (Applications will be assessed by the Grants Committee).
- For offers worth more than RM5,000.00, the applicant must bear the excess payment.
- Approval of grants is subject to evaluation of bids conducted by the Grants Committee.
- The maximum price of goods/equipment to be approved is RM5,000 including SST.
However this grant does not cover the purchase of the following items:
- Equipment such as computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and so on.
- AC, fan, table, chairs and so on.
- Raw materials (agricultural inputs, cooking materials, sewing materials such as cloth, needles, threads, bricks, cement and others).
- Electricity, water, rental, employee salary bills and costs related to business operations.
- Items not related to the registered business.
- Payment of shipping costs, installation costs and other costs.
- Routine operating and maintenance costs.
- Location modifications are not for certification purposes.
- Any costs determined to be ineligible by the Approval Committee.




Procurement Method
The specified procurement method is as follows:
- The application must be accompanied by 3 offers for each equipment to be purchased/printed/services to be used.
- Applicants also need to attach a picture of the front of the business premises.
- Attachment to the applicant’s business statement;
- For registration and certification fees for courses such as Halal/HARUS/GMP/Kodbar and others, an offer letter or official offer from the organizer must be included.
- Quotes from online platforms such as Shopee, TikTok, Lazada and so on are not allowed.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated.
