11. What are the criteria for films and contestants that are eligible to participate in the FFM34 nominations?

1. The criteria required for the feature film category are local feature films released in Malaysia and approved by the Film Censorship Board (LPF). This film has never participated in the Malaysian Film Festival series and has been screened in local cinemas throughout Malaysia from 01 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

2. The criteria required for the short film category are films that have never participated in the Malaysian Film Festival series and the screening date on any platform starts from 101 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

3. The criteria required for the documentary category are documentary films that have never participated in the Malaysian Film Festival series and have been approved by the Film Censorship Board (LPF) and have been screened on any platform from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2025.
