The Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) informed that it did not provide official approval for fights involving underage participants, causing the match to be temporarily suspended.​​

So, for the time being, any fight or category involving minors will not proceed at WWC 2025 until it has received full approval and approval from the relevant authorities.
