About the Special Education Integration Program

The Integrated Special Education Program is a special education program implemented in regular schools for students with special needs (MBK).

MBK consists of the following problems:

• Learning
• Hearing
• Vision

Through this program, the schools involved will modify special classes and integrate students into regular classes for certain subjects.

Objectives of the Special Integration Education Program

The main objectives of this program were created to:

• Providing appropriate and relevant education to MBK.
• Developing student potential by uncovering students’ talents and interests.
• Provide appropriate and up-to-date teaching materials to MBK.
• Improving MBK social skills with mainstream students.

Characteristics of MBK Students

Among the characteristics of MBK students are as follows:

• Autism
• Epilepsy
• Slow
• Cerebral Paralysis
• Acalculia
• Dyscalculia
• Dysgraphia
• Down Syndrome
• Dyslexia

General Terms

General conditions for registering for this program are as follows:

1. Candidates are Malaysian citizens.
2. Go to a government or government aided school.
3. Have a confirmation letter from a medical practitioner, or optometrist, audiologist or psychologist as the case may be, either in government/private services; or
   Holders of Persons with Disabilities Cards (OKU) issued by the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) for the purposes of applying for the Allowance for Students with Special Educational Needs (EMBPK).
4. Prospective students must be in good physical health and not have chronic diseases (heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, seizures and other diseases) that could prevent students from carrying out practical work.
5. Able to look after himself.
6. Does not have a record of serious disciplinary violations such as:
   I. Student Reports from the Student Identity System (SSDM); And
   I. Attendance reports via the Student Database Application (APDM).

Special Conditions

Apart from general requirements, applicants must also meet specific requirements such as:

1. Malaysian Skills Certification Final Candidate Micro Credential Program at PPKI; or a graduate of MBPK High School and has taken the Micro Credential Skills Certification Final Assessment.
2. Master the basic skills of reading, writing, arithmetic and reasoning (4M).
3. Submit a Transcript of the Statement of Achievement of the Malaysian Skills Certification Micro Credential Program in the field of Crop Basics; or/and Submit a Statement of Achievement issued by the Skills Development Department for three Competency Units in the field of Plant Basics (for entry to Pagoh Vocational School and Chenor Vocational School (Agriculture))
4. Submit a Transcript of the Statement of Achievement of the Malaysian Skills Certification Micro Credential Program in the field of Basic Garment Sewing or/and Submit the Statement of Achievement issued by the Skills Development Department for three Competency Units in the field of Basic Garment Sewing (for admission to SMK Sungai Tani 2)
5. Submit a Transcript of the Statement of Achievement for the Malaysian Skills Certification Program Micro-Credential in the field of Basic Furniture or/and submit the Statement of Achievement issued by the Skills Development Department for three Competency Units in the field of Basic Furniture (for admission to Muadzam Shah Vocational School).
